Ministry Teams

God designed the church as interdependent organism and the Scriptures teach the benefits of working together rather than alone (see Ecclesiates 4:9-11 and 1 Corinthians 12). As well, serving alongside one another yields one of the greatest joys we can experience as followers of Christ. For this reason, we employ a team approach to ministry.

Christ’s Caring Crafters: This team uses the God-given gifts of their hands (knitting, crocheting, etc.) to share His warmth and love in a tangible way in our faith community and our world. While making their items, they have the opportunity to engage in prayer both individually, as they stitch, and as a group. To get involved, contact Margie Veltri.

Faith Factor: The Faith Factor team instructs and shepherds the children (ages pre-kindergarten through fifth grade) in our community of faith. We introduce a Bible story each week as a large group, and then break into smaller age-appropriate groups to explore more about the story and discover how the children can apply it to their daily lives. Contact Amber Steele to learn how you can be a part of this ministry.

Music Team: This team provides music for our Sunday morning worship gatherings. We feature a modern worship approach to music and use guitars, keyboards, percussion and vocals in our gatherings. For more information contact Joe Veltri or Rob Timm.

Food Ministry: Our food ministry gives special meaning to our community gatherings. It is part of our desire to help people connect with each other, whether that be through fellowship, working, serving or studying. Coming together around food gives a “family-style” flavor to our gatherings, and that is exactly what we are . . . a family. Plus, food is yummy and makes people happy! Contact Donna Wolfe to get involved.

Spiritual Formation Team: This team is committed to coming alongside individuals and groups to help make connections to resources and relationships that fuel spiritual growth. The team works to create and encore life-giving learning environments that help people grow in the Way of Jesus. For more information, please contact our lead pastor, Terry Timm.
