The staff directs the day-to-day affairs of the ministries of Christ Community Church. A primary responsibility of the staff is to serve ministry team leaders and empower them as they build and coordinate ministry teams that will accomplish the work of God.

Katherine Sikma –  Katherine joined our staff in 2009. She is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and she moved to Pittsburgh in 2004. Katherine graduated from Calvin College, where she studied communication, psychology, and gender. She holds master’s degrees in Higher Education and Leadership from Geneva College and Duquesne University. Katherine is passionate about empowering others and helping them to understand their place in God’s Kingdom. She serves our community by providing leadership in formation and young adult ministry. Amber Steele – Amber grew up all over the United States (and also in the Philippines) because her father served in the US Air Force. After graduating from Grove City College with a degree in Elementary Education, she settled down in the Pittsburgh area and has been living here since then. After teaching for a few years, she left the education field to be a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband, Greg, have three young children, Caleb, Megan, and Micah. Terry Timm – Terry was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Pittsburgh when he was in the 4th grade. One of his favorite expressions is “dream venti” because he believes the best way to experience a rich and full life is to use our imagination to pursue God-sized dreams. With degrees from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and Northern Seminary, his background in the fields of music, education, theology and leadership fuels his passion of helping people become everything God intended, created, redeemed and gifted them to be.
