Community

The church is built on relationships—our relationship with God, with one another, and with the people in our world. We believe God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit  existed eternally as the Divine community, and we desire to model our life as a community of faith on the life of God. Living together in love is the hallmark of the church, and we seek to express Christ’s love in real and tangible ways in our daily life together.

“Christian community is not an ideal which we must realize; it is rather a reality created by God in Christ in which we may participate. The more clearly we learn to recognize that the ground and strength and promise of all our fellowship is in Jesus Christ alone, the more serenely shall we think of our fellowship and pray and hope for it.” (Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Life Together)
